Sarah Geronimo’s Sunday primetime musical variety show Sarah G. Live is about to bid adieu this love month.According to grapevines, the Popstar’s show will wrap up this February to give way for the third season of Pilipinas Got Talent.
The show debuted in February 26, 2012, with Luis Manzano as co-host, and is intended to give solo show to the Pop princess where she could showcase her heart-stopping singing and dancing skills.
The show is a consistent ratings winner, although it registered lower numbers than its predecessor shows.
It usually starts with a song and dance number by Geronimo, together with the G-Force. The opening number is usually a mix of hit songs from known American pop superstars, with Geronimo performing it with her own flavor. But the segment which usually ends as the week’s talk of the tinsel town is Geronimo’s closing number, performing a statement song which usually reflects the popstar’s current emotions and state of heart.
However, the show’s goodbye doesn’t mean the talented singer is leaving the Kapamilya network.
Early this year, Geronimo signed a one year exclusive contract with ABS-CBN. The actress is slated to return in the big screen with the third installment of her hit team-up with John Lloyd Cruz. She will also star in her own sitcom which will probably be aired on ABS-CBN weekends.
