One of the world’s most important nations in pageantry, India has crowned its winners during the 50th edition of the country’s most prestigious beauty tilt, Femina Miss India.
A 20-year old beauty Navneet Kaur Dhillon was able to prevail over 22 other ladies for the title of Femina Miss India 2013, earning the right to represent India in the Miss World 2013 pageant to be held in Indonesia this September.
Winning first runner-up and the title Femina Miss India Earth 2013 is another 20-year old stunner Sobhita Dhulipala of Visakhapatnam. She will represent India in the Miss Earth pageant, a testament that Miss Earth is still one of the most important international beauty titls given the first runner-up status.
Second runner-up is Zoya Afroz, 18 years old, and earned the title Femina Miss India International 2013. She will represent India in the Miss International pageant, and will try to win her country’s first crown.
The 50th edition of Femina Miss India highlighted the country’s successful run, earning 34 international titles, second only to Venezuela.
