Per tradition, NBC is the first among the Big 4 American broadcast networks to announce it upcoming Fall 2015. What is most striking about its schedule is the lack of comedy line-up, which is only a 1-hour block relegated in weekday’s lowest-rated night…Friday.

The multi-cam comedy Undateable is renewed for a 3rd all-live season and will be paired with a freshman multi-cam comedy People Are Talking. This comedy block will serve as lead-in to Grimm, now on its 5th season.

The coveted post-The Voice Monday slot is given to perhaps, the network’s most buzzed series Blindspot. The previous occupant of this Monday launch pad, The Blacklist, will stay on Thursday to help launch Heroes: Reborn and The Player. This all-drama Thursday seems to have taken its cue from rival ABC’s formidable TGIT line-up (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder).

NBC has also decided to keep Wednesdays untouched with The Mysteries of Laura, which has received a last-minute renewal for a second season, and followed by Law and Order: SVU and Chicago PD.

Instead of launching new comedies in Tuesdays, NBC is introducing a new medical drama Heartbreaker after The Voice Tuesday. Pushing for live and variety programming, NBC will bow out its Tuesday line-up with Best Time Ever With Neil Patrick Harris.

Shows are listed by day of the week and timeslot, as NBC has not at this juncture determined premiere dates. New shows are listed in all caps.
