Pageants included in the Big 5 and Next 5 categories will have the chance to vie for Golden Girl trophies in various categories. The winner will be decided both by a distinct board of jury and the pageant fans.
Fan vote will comprise 50% of the total score while the remaining 50% will be from the judges’ score. Trophies will be given out for the following categories:
Best in Preliminary Activities
Best Set of Candidates
Best Production/Dance Number
Best in Overall Finals Night
Best Pageant Host
Best in Winners Circle
Pageant Queen of the Year
Pageant of the Year
After all pageants have aired their respective finals, The Pageantry® will hold a preliminary voting for all pageants (Big 5 and Next 5) in each category to determine the Final Five. The five will go on to vie for the award in the next level of voting by fans and judging by a specially selected jury.
The pageant garnering the highest composite scores from the fan vote and the judges will receive the imaginary Golden Girl trophy and a year long bragging rights. The same procedure will apply to the Pageant Queen of the Year category, the only exception is that the winners will be the nominees, not their respective pageants.
